Who We Are

The MADA Service, Parts & Collision Council (SPCC) is an organization of Minnesota dealership professionals who work together to advance and improve the vehicle repair industry. We are committed to promoting quality work and ensuring consumers know they have choices when it comes to vehicle repair. We are also dedicated to ensuring our workforce - both current and future -  have access to the resources they need to have life-long and lucrative careers in the industry.

For Dealer Repair, Parts and Collision Centers

The MADA SPCC provides a platform for a dealership’s fixed operations staff to:

  • have access to resources and training materials to boost productivity;
  • discuss trends that adversely impact the delivery of service and promote solutions to overcome them;
  • tout careers in the automotive repair industry; and
  • network with their peers from around the region.

For Consumers

Minnesota drivers have the right to select the repair and collision center of their choice; no insurance company can require you to give up your choice.

If you have been in an accident, call your local auto dealer for advise and help getting your vehicle to a factory trained representative who will use manufacture parts.

All collision and service work is done by experienced, factory-trained technicians who have repaired hundreds of vehicles just like yours. And when you choose quality, it does not mean you are sacrificing affordability. Dealer service and repair centers compete on price and can give you excellent service, done right the first time, at prices you can afford.

Dealer repair shops are also advocates for you in the event of a safety recall or when warranty work is needed. To find out if your vehicle has an open recall that needs to be remedied, check out www.safercar.gov.

For Job Seekers

The SPCC wants you!  Minnesota’s automotive repair industry is in need of thousands of skilled technicians. We offer stable, good-paying jobs that can become long-term careers in the industry.  Our dealerships partner with high school and college vocational programs to provide hands-on experience through internships and apprenticeship programs.  Click here to learn more.
